Recent and Upcoming Events

 

The Visitacion Valley Redevelopment Program has been over 10 years in the making, but it is only just beginning to enter the most exciting parts of the development process. We invite you to stay involved with the project 

 

Below are events that have recently occurred or are scheduled in the coming weeks:

 

April 14, 2012: Come to the Visitacion Valley Planning Alliance meeting. Sat, April 14, 10 am - 12 pm, at the Visitacion Valley Public Library Community Room (corner of Leland and Rutland Avenues). Sarah Dennis from the Planning Department and Ken Rich from the Mayor's Office will discuss the Schlage Lock development project in the post-Redevelopment Agency era. Chester Fung from the SF Transportation Authority will update on the Bayshore Station and Bi-County Transportation Study.

 

April 17, 2012: Visitacion Valley neighborhood groups and UPC are convening a Community Update Meeting to discuss the Schlage Lock project in the post-Redevelopment era and the future of the Visitacion Valley Citizens Advisory Committee (VVCAC). Tuesday 6:00PM at Recology's Environmental Learning Center (401 Tunnel Avenue). ***Download Event Flyer***
